Karen~The Bearly There Primitive Bear! I want to thank all of you who have entered my give-aways and have begun following my little blog. This has been so much fun and has kept me motivated to keep working on my creations...something I truely love. I finished four more micro mini Annies which I will post and place on my Etsy site tomorrow evening. I am also considering what will be on the table for a May give-away...think I will switch it up a little...check back to see what I come up with! Again congrats to Karen (lucky number 10).

Happy Easter Everyone!

I have been busy at work this holiday weekend finishing up a ballerina bunny and working on micro mini Annies! Here is the bunny and some fabric chosen for 3 more! I like the plush felt much better than the flannel...

She has the cutest face! Here are the fabrics chosen for the next 3...
Hoping to finish the Annies today and I will post as soon as they are done!
Yes, we are naked and awaiting arms!

Check back for the completed Annies and have a "Happy Easter!"

Look What Brightened My Day...

After a long day at school, including extended day duty, look what hopped onto my doorstep today! Cyndy over at Crafty Stitchers sent me her last give-away which really brightened my day. When I opened the box...I found a cute Easter card, a little felt egg with a chick peeking out, and her bunny. "WOW" it's all too cute! Thanks to Cyndy again for hosting a great give-away. If you aren't familiar with Cyndy's work hop on over to her blogspot...you can link through this blog. Check out her Etsy too...real cute items. Her raggedies are my favorites...I own quite a few!

A Busy Weekend...

Oh where did this weekend go? Saturday, I went with my friend Dodie to another wool class and made a crow to hold my needles. Spent the morning inside with a great group of stitchers while it stormed outside. The forecast said some parts of north Florida got two weeks of rain in one morning. We sure do need it....just not all at once!

I spent Sunday riding with my hubby down to Satsuma to visit my son and to see the house we will be co-renting on the St. Johns river with him. He will be living in it...we will be visiting often for a little rest and relaxation.
I also wanted to share a ballerina bunny I worked on over spring break. This was a pattern from an old magazine that I came across when looking for patterns for next year's show. Her body is made out of flannel and I'm not sure if I'm crazy about it. Working on another one with the body made out of plush felt. I'll post when she is done...hope to put them on my Etsy site when I'm satisfied with how they look. I didn't get to finish them spring break as I picked up some "bug" and was sick most of the break. Now I'm back to work with a short week...report cards...personal evaluation to schedule...and FCAT looming.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week...now off to finish watching "The Killing" and do some hand stitching on my baby pin ornaments. Until next time...Darlene xxoo
